Kiton Menswear Spring Summer 2016 Milan
In a tryptic of tableau vivants, Kiton presented three distinct wardrobe styles for men next summer. The concept being a look back to a time when men would change ensembles throughout the day to correspond with different sartorial situations. And even more specifically, the attitude of the collection got its starting point in the vêtements of 1940s Naples, the city where the brand was founded.
Clients could pick and choose their favorite Kiton attire from elegant daywear, sophisticated sportswear, or classic evening wear. But, honestly, it really doesn't matter what a man wears at Kiton; he is always going to look stylish.
And while the brand continues to maintain that commitment to excellence, it now is looking to impress its luxury clientele with textile advancements that set the brand apart. This season the big "get" at Kiton is a suit in the brand's new 12.8 micron wool.
As this impressive wool is limited in terms of production, its exclusivity, even if it is offered in 20 different shades, will make it only that much more desirable. And a 30,000€ price tag should also help separate the Ultra High Net Worth wheat from the merely wealthy chaff.
